man-in-pewsWe can help you provide quality advice/counsel in the moment, while setting the person up for long-term success in recovery.

We recognize that faith and a church family can be a valuable resource for a person beginning their journey toward recovery. We also recognize that dependency and addiction take a toll on the entire family and social network. Novus wants to be a resource for you, the family, and the individual making a decision to seek sobriety and get on the path toward improved health.

An experienced Novus Admissions Coordinator is just a phone call away to assist you. Our team understands and has access to resources for every aspect of long-term recovery, from intervention to recovery coaching.

If the person does not need our services there is a good chance that we will know someone who can help them. We help people at Novus, or connect them with other providers who can help, everyday.

The Individual Program

At Novus Medical Detox Center, we truly understand drug and alcohol dependence/addiction, and we employ the latest approaches with compassion to help every patient get through their drug or alcohol withdrawal.

Our protocol delivers a much more comfortable experience than most other methods as it is tailor made to the individual’s needs, drug history and physical condition, not like other one-protocol-fits-all programs.

We provide a high degree of attention and care with 24/7 medical supervision of each patient’s progress at our facility.

The environment includes the choice of private or shared rooms, internet access, telephone, cable television, where our patients are treated with dignity and compassion by our highly trained and professional staff. Many executives can continue to work from our center while they are undergoing detox. A parent can continue to talk to their children on the phone anytime they wish. Visits can be arranged with immediate family or approved community support persons such as Pastors, Church leaders, etc.

Comprehensive Treatment

We offer comprehensive treatment to each patient. This means that we provide all necessary medicines, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and proper hydration based on each patient’s unique DNA and metabolic needs, which also enhances the body’s health, strength and well-being.

We accept most out of network insurance plans and are open 365 days a year.

What prevents people of faith from getting help?

church-windowThe literature suggests that there are at least five common reasons why people who felt they needed treatment for substance abuse made no effort to get it:

  • Cost

Call us no matter what. We oftentimes can work out a financial arrangement or can connect them with other resources to get help. The call is free!

  • Possible negative effect on employment

Novus is much more accommodating than most providers. We even permit mobile phones and laptops so that many people can continue their employment while receiving treatment. We frequently see patients come to us and complete their detox while using their vacation time. Their employer did not even know they were in detox treatment.

  • Not knowing where to go for treatment

Unfortunately, many people have not heard of Novus and may have had a bad experience at a different treatment program. We frequently hear our patients say that they wished that they had known about us sooner.

  • Fear of stigma/Shame

The shame and fear of judgment is the worst item on this list. Our team works diligently to convey compassion and dignity to those in our care. We feel they have shown great courage by coming through our doors ready to make a life change. There is no shame in taking action to improve your life and the life of your family. We also respect every person’s privacy.

  • I don’t have the time

People are surprised to learn that inpatient detox on average is only a 7 night commitment. A new life in exchange for an investment of one week.
