Heroin Detox Successes – Boat Captain (Heroin)
Can’t think of a thing to better this operation. Each and every Novus employee at some time or another went out of their way to be helpful. I can’t express my gratitude enough. It is truly a therapeutic treat to be around such an upbeat staff. Also the bonds created with the wide variety of patients is amazing.
Honestly I feel I can look away in a new direction to find hope, for what to me seemed hopeless. The chronic pain issue is still an open ended question, but I know what does not work. I’ve made friends that I will be in touch with for continuing support, since we do have that in common, along with our Novus experience.
Unlike my past detox experience, the fact that I feel pretty good is a welcome surprise. The non narcotic suppression of pain is another welcome surprise. You can certainly say I’ve learned something during my stay. Rewriting my routine is on me, and with a little help from my new found friends, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. By the way, thank you for not making me feel like an axe murderer. I think that’s the psychological backbone of other detox programs. I believe my optimism to continue my sobriety has everything to do with a self worth sense that I acquired here, because of all your staffs positive energy. It’s infectious. Yup, I’m gonna make it! Thanks a bunch.
